Eliminating standby

Eliminating standby in our homes is not always easy. Those little red lights on your television and home entertainment additions such as surround sound amplifiers; DVD Players and computer consoles are needlessly costing you money every hour. How Does It Work?

The TVA105 IntelliPlug learns to recognize the signal from your television remote control which enables it to activate your television automatically into standby mode whenever you are ready to use it. When you have finished using your television you switch it off in the normal way using your remote control and the IntelliPlug does the rest!

• Auto Calibration - The IntelliPlug continuously measures the amount of electricity being consumed by your TV in active and standby mode, by learning your televisions unique energy pattern the IntelliPlug will only power your peripherals on/off when appropriate - at the right time, every time.

• Zero-Crossing Detection - Automatically determines when the power supplied to the peripherals is at an optimum level for creating the least amount of stress to components.

• Sky socket - The dedicated Sky socket is designed specifically for a Sky Digibox. When you turn off your television the peripherals and the Sky DigiBox will be switched off. This automatically re-sets your Sky Digibox and places it in to standby mode ready for use. The Sky Socket is not recommended for use in conjunction with Sky+ or Sky HD when using the timer record function.

• Quality Surge Protection - will dissipate surges of up to 605 joules of energy/a peak current of 22,500 amps and includes a thermal fuse in case of a catastrophic spike.

• Low standby power of approximately 0.5 watts.

• Saves an average 35 watts per hour depending on the number of connected peripherals. This product can pay for itself in less than a year of use.
